SILVER SPOT CAMO • NYLON MONOFILAMENT

550 Yard. Five Small Spools. One Continuous Line.

Keep fresh mono ready for your next trip. Silver Spot combines a distinctive speckled finish with one continuous line wound across 5 connected small spools, each holding 110 Yard, so you can measure out the line your setup needs and keep the rest for later.

550 Yard total · 15 sizes · 4–40 lb labeled strength
Choose by both pound rating and diameter using the chart below.

Choose the line that fits your reel

Buying the heaviest line is not always the answer. Check your rod’s line rating and your reel’s mono capacity, then match the diameter to your setup and the cover you fish.

  • Light tackle: compare the 4–9 lb options for smaller reels and lighter presentations, where your rod and reel ratings allow.
  • Everyday freshwater setups: compare 11–18 lb options when you need a step up in diameter. Check capacity before filling a spinning reel.
  • Heavier setups: compare 20–40 lb options for compatible tackle. Thicker line takes up more spool space; pound rating is not a fish-weight limit.

Less guesswork when it is time to respool

One continuous line. You choose where to cut.

This Bulk Spool Mono pack contains one continuous 550 Yard fishing line wound across 5 connected small spools, each holding 110 Yard. The line runs from one spool to the next and stays connected until you cut it.

Why choose five connected small spools?

  • Choose your own fill length: pull 110, 150, 200 Yard or another length to suit your reel. You do not have to stop at the end of a small spool.
  • Keep a longer fill continuous: draw line from consecutive spool sections without tying separate 110 Yard pieces together.
  • Divide one pack across your setups: use 110 Yard portions for reels needing that amount, or allocate more line to larger-capacity reels.
  • Keep unused line organized: leave the remaining line wound on the connected small spools for your next refill.
  • Cut to your needs: choose the amount for each reel and keep the balance, rather than cutting every section in advance.

How many reels can 550 Yard refill?

Plan for about 2–5 refills if each reel needs 110–250 Yard of new line. Choose the example that matches the amount you actually intend to add:

  • 110 Yard per reel: 5 refills.
  • 150 Yard per reel: 3 refills, with 100 Yard remaining.
  • 200 Yard per reel: 2 refills, with 150 Yard remaining.
  • 250 Yard per reel: 2 refills, with 50 Yard remaining.

These are length-allocation examples before trimming, not guarantees that every reel will be filled. Check your reel’s capacity for the selected line diameter and allow for backing and knot trimming. A reel requiring more line will reduce the refill count.

Manage coils before the first cast

Nylon mono can retain spool memory. Fill with steady tension, follow your reel’s spooling instructions and avoid overfilling. If loops appear, check for slack and line twist before your next cast. Choose a suitable diameter instead of putting heavy mono on a small spool.

Give every knot a proper check

Wet the knot and tighten it smoothly. Inspect the line near the hook after contact with rocks or cover, trim damaged sections and retie. Knot choice, wear and drag settings all affect your connection—no line can promise zero break-offs.

Biomimetic silver speckles for a subtle presentation

The silver-speckled coating is designed to mimic the appearance of tiny aquatic organisms near the bottom. Its broken-up pattern is intended to help the line blend into the underwater background, making it less conspicuous for a more natural bait presentation and encouraging fish to take the bait.

This describes the camouflage design intent. Visibility and fish response vary with light, water clarity, background and fishing conditions.

Frequently asked questions

1. Is this one continuous line or five separate pieces?

It is one continuous 550 Yard line wound across 5 connected small spools, with 110 Yard on each. You choose where to cut; the line stays connected between spool sections until then.

2. Can I use more than 110 Yard on one reel?

Yes. Pull line from consecutive small spools and cut the length your reel needs. You can use 150 Yard, 200 Yard or another suitable length without joining separate pieces at the spool boundaries.

3. How many reels can I refill?

For example, 550 Yard provides five 110 Yard allocations, three 150 Yard allocations with 100 Yard left, or two 200 Yard allocations with 150 Yard left, before trimming. Actual fills depend on reel capacity, line diameter, backing and the length you cut.

4. Is this nylon mono, braid or fluorocarbon?

This is nylon monofilament fishing line. It is not braided line or a 100% fluorocarbon line.

5. How are the 550 Yard and 5 spools connected?

You receive 5 connected small spools, each holding 110 Yard, for 550 Yard total. It is one continuous, uncut fishing line running from spool to spool—not five separate pieces. Measure the amount your reel requires before cutting.

6. Which size should I order?

Start with your rod’s line rating and reel’s mono-capacity marking. Compare both lb and mm in the chart. Variant names show strength followed by diameter, for example 7LB-0.16MM. If unsure, email your reel model, rod rating and intended use to info@bingobraid.com.

7. Will this line eliminate coils and tangles?

No nylon mono is guaranteed to be memory-free. Appropriate diameter, even spooling tension, avoiding overfill and keeping slack under control help with handling. Replace damaged or persistently troublesome line.

8. How do I reduce knot failures?

Use a knot suitable for mono and your tackle, wet it before tightening, seat it smoothly and inspect it before fishing. Retie after abrasion or damage and set your drag for the weakest part of the setup.

9. What is the silver-speckled coating designed to do?

The speckled coating takes inspiration from tiny aquatic organisms near the bottom. It is designed to break up the line’s appearance and help it blend into its surroundings for a subtler presentation. The aim is to make fish less wary of the line when approaching the bait; visibility and bite response depend on the conditions.

10. When will my order ship and arrive?

Orders ship within 1–2 business days after ordering. Estimated delivery to the United States is 4–6 business days after shipment.

11. Can I return the line after opening or spooling it?

For U.S. orders, request an eligible return within 7 days of receipt. Items must be unused, unopened and in their original packaging with proof of purchase. Opened, spooled, cut or used line is not returnable unless defective, damaged, incorrect or required by applicable law. Email info@bingobraid.com before returning. Customers pay non-quality return shipping; verified quality defects, damage or incorrect items qualify for reasonable return-shipping coverage. See the full refund policy, including regional rights.

12. How should I store unused line?

Keep it away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Check for surface damage, brittleness and knot problems before your next trip; replace worn line when needed.
