How many reels can 550 Yard refill?
Plan for about 2–5 refills if each reel needs 110–250 Yard of new line. Choose the example that matches the amount you actually intend to add:

- 150 Yard per reel: 3 refills, with 100 Yard remaining.
- 200 Yard per reel: 2 refills, with 150 Yard remaining.
- 250 Yard per reel: 2 refills, with 50 Yard remaining.
These are length-allocation examples before trimming, not guarantees that every reel will be filled. Check your reel’s capacity for the selected line diameter and allow for backing and knot trimming. A reel requiring more line will reduce the refill count.

Use a knot suitable for mono and your tackle, wet it before tightening, seat it smoothly and inspect it before fishing. Retie after abrasion or damage and set your drag for the weakest part of the setup.
