Yes. Pro Tournament Braid X8 is suitable for freshwater and saltwater fishing. Rinse your reel and tackle with fresh water after saltwater use.

Why choose X8 instead of X4?

The eight-strand construction creates a rounder, smoother surface that runs more quietly through guides and supports longer casting. X4 can still be preferable when a coarser texture or application-specific toughness is the priority.
